I think that's true across the board. Along those lines, most companies all of a sudden started looking for AI researchers, instead of software engineers, which is what they still need :-).
Just like a decade-ish ago, when the FAANG interview style got openly known, then everybody started to conduct interviews in that pattern :-)

Congrats! Probably, you have the blessing of luck as well. One of my ex-colleagues got laid off and managed to find an uplevel job within a month, but another has been looking for almost 2 years now. He showed me that most of the jobs he applied to over the past two-ish years are still open, while they rejected him by saying the usual - we are moving forward with the candidates more aligned with the position.
CNN might as well be silent. I found two mentions of Jared Kushner's corrupt financial involvement with the Saudi government in an hour-long CNN Outfront podcast transcript [1], and the first mention was by the interviewee. Using the query site:cnn.com "kushner" "saudi" filtered to the past month in Google, I found no mentions hinting at the same in any CNN news articles.
Majority of republicans lawmakers still support him; people voting for his candidates in primaries and show up in his rallies in troves. They all are blinded by his fake ‘golden age’ clout. It’s just a wishful thinking if he’d be ever held accountable.

But you have to pay for those 'channels' separately, so subscription hell is still there. That explains why it's not a solution! Ideally, service providers should share revenue, and then it could be called a unified or frictionless experience.
Thats kind of missing the point. There's nothing magical about "level 5". This is stupid academic nonsense, not an objective test or anything that can be measured:

I can't drive anywhere in road traffic under all conditions so I guess i'm not level 5? What piece of technology doesn't ever fail or require some kind of human intervention. I don't even think I trust my toaster when I'm out of the room.
Self driving is very much here. Sometimes it fails, because it's technology. The reason steering wheels exist is due to regulations. There are some Chinese cars like Apollo RT6 with a detachable steering wheel
To each their own, but for me - that'd be a heavy cognitive load. I ask Claude or ChatGPT to summarize HN comments and the article and provide any takeaways or wisdom nuggets. That's it.
Actually for me it’s more cognitive load when the AI just dumps everything at once, which is why I prefer to have it give me a nugget at a time, so I can take it in, pause and discuss before moving to the next one.
